[简析]

据《世说新语文学》记载：曹植的哥哥曹丕做了皇帝后，要想迫害曹植，于是命令曹植在走七步路的短时间内做一首诗，做不成就杀头。结果曹植应声咏出这首《七步诗》。诗人以箕豆相煎为比喻，控诉了曹丕对自己和其他兄弟的残酷迫害。

前 两句“煮豆燃豆萁，豆在釜中泣”，一“燃”一“泣”写出“萁”“豆”的尖锐矛盾，及豆萁对豆子的残酷迫害。最后两句“本是同根生，相煎何太急！”画龙点睛 提示诗歌主题。“同根”一语双关，表面上指“萁”和“豆”是在同一根上面生长起来的，实际上是说自己与曹丕是同一父母所生，责问曹丕为什么要对同胞兄弟逼 迫得这样急。

这首诗的比喻十分贴切，浅显生动。虽然诗歌本身是否真为曹植所作，还难以确定，但这首诗反映曹魏统治集团的内部矛盾倒是十分形象真切的，确实是一首好诗。
